Seated along Via Cesare Baronio in Rome Italy, this Fascist Era (1930s) warehouse building was once used for storing currency. Given the task to re-purpose the building for the community, it gives back in the form of a Craft center. Utilizing Cor-ten steel to set up a relationship between the Existing and the Intervened, the project nods to the importance of public memory. Connecting vantage points to the immediate surroundings, Piazza Cesare Baronio, Parco Giochi, Villa Lazzaroni, and Parco Della Caffarella, it is a visual staple in which creates a central community space within the residential area.
