A GRAPE TRELLIS

A Grape Trellis utilizing scrap metal in an attempt to connect to the surrounding wooded landscape and provide a vertical structure for grape vines to ascend. A composition to capture an object in the process of falling while framing the beyond landscape from any position in the garden gives a deeper relationship to nature. A project fueled by the detail expression of vines grabbing onto something stronger than itself. The supporting structure is the primary expressor of this idea, emerging from the soil, reaching out to grab the supporting plane.
